1st Street Station is the stop where riders get off Metro Rail and transfer to buses at the Long Beach Transit Gallery.

Metro Rail

This station is served by the Metro A Line to Downtown Long Beach. Ticket machines are available at the platform entrance. First time riders must purchase a reusable TAP card with a fare from the machine before boarding. All riders must "tap" the TAP card or TAP-enabled ticket/transfer at a validator when entering platforms and keep the card or ticket for the duration of the ride.

This station features a ground-level platform. All trains head to Downtown Long Beach Station, which will make a brief stop before returning to Downtown LA and Azusa.
