Phoenix is the capital and the largest city in Arizona and the 6th largest city in the United States. Even with a large number of population, the population density is far lower than Los Angeles, San Jose, and San Diego because of the large land area. Phoenix is surrounded by a number of smaller cities which make up the entire metropolitan region.

Located in Maricopa County.
