Vertical transfers at Clark/Lake Station

This is the major transfer point between the underground Blue Line and Brown, Green, Pink, Orange, and Purple lines running on the elevated tracks.

The primary entrances to the station from the street is at the north side of Lake Street at 203 North LaSalle and south side of Lake Street at Thompson Center. These two entrances also provide the vertical connection between the elevated and subway lines. CTA ticket machines are available at these entrances, which sell reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay.

There are entrances (no ticket machines) to the subway at Lake and Wells and exits from the elevated platforms to Lake Street.

This elevated station features side platforms. The subway station features a center platform.
