Historic streetcars
F-Market & Wharves streetcar from The Castro and the Ferry Building serves the heart of the Fisherman's Wharf area. , The streetcar however can especially be crowded on weekends.
Cable cars
The area is served by two cable car lines.
The terminal for the Mason line is on on Taylor Street and Bay Street. The terminal for the Hyde line is on Hyde Street and Beach Street. Each terminal features a turntable to turn the cable cars.
Ferries
Pier 41 is located in the Fisherman's Wharf area and is served by the Blue & Gold Fleet and Vallejo Baylink Ferry. Pier 33 is served by Alcatraz Cruises.
