BART, Muni Metro
BART (East Bay/SF Airport) and Muni Metro trains run under Market Street. Embarcadero Station and Montgomery Station are the nearest stops for both systems.
Historic Streetcar, Cable car
F-Market & Wharves streetcar stops along on Market Street.
California Cable Car line have stops along California Street and ends at Market Street above Embarcadero Station.
Caltrain
The nearest Caltrain (Peninsula/San Jose) stop is the 4th & King Station. A number of bus routes provide connection from Caltrain to the Financial District:
Muni Metro N Judah and T Third Street lines also connect with Caltrain at 4th & King.
Ferries
Ferries from the North and the East Bay provide direct service to the Ferry Building in the Financial District:
Muni F-Market & Wharves historic streetcars stop in front of the Ferry Building and continue south on Market St.
