California High-Speed Rail

From Transit.Wiki

California High-Speed Rail is a state project in the planning stages that would connect California major cities and population centers with high-speed rail network on par with the well known bullet trains found around the world.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, the new Transbay Terminal would offer bullet train service directly to downtown San Francisco, with stops in South San Francisco, Millbrae (creating a high-speed shuttle to San Francisco International Airport), Redwood City and depending on the route the line would either cross the bay and create a new rail connection to the East Bay or continue south to San Jose.
