Coaster is a commuter rail service between Oceanside and San Diego. It runs 7 days a week and operates along the same tracks as Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner trains. It connects with Sprinter hybrid rail and Metrolink trains at Oceanside Station. At Santa Fe Depot Station and Old Town Station, Coaster connects with San Diego Trolley. Coaster is a service provided by the North County Transit District, but it charges higher fares than other NCTD services.
