Directions to and from Transbay Terminal

Transbay Terminal is a major transit center in Downtown San Francisco. It is located one block south of Market Street and Embarcadero Station.

AC Transit

All AC Transit Transbay routes to San Francisco (except line 800) stop on the upper level.

AC Transit have stops on two boarding islands (Lane 2 and 3) at the upper level of the terminal. See the overhead signs in the mezzanine level for boarding locations.

Also on the mezzanine level is the AC Customer Service counter. Tickets and passes can be purchased at that location. The counter opens on weekdays from 6:00am to 7:00pm.

All Nighter line 800 to the East Bay stops on 1st Street under the Transbay Terminal structure.

Muni

All Muni buses (except line 108 to Treasure Island) stop on streets outside the terminal building.

Board southbound SamTrans buses on Mission Street across from the terminal entrance.

292 and KX operates throughout the day, 7 days a week. All other routes run only during the weekday peak hours.

Greyhound stops on the upper level of the Terminal with a separate waiting room and ticket counters.

Shuttle

Caltrans Bay Bridge Bicycle Shuttle to MacArthur Station stops on the upper level of the Terminal (Lane 2).
